A Collaboration across the Continents
Professional singer Anna Reay has collaborated with Nigeria’s biggest star, Flavour, in the recording of a charity single ‘She's One in a Million’ which will be released on today (World Health Day). The song is in memory of Valerie Olalemi, who, at only 8 years old, sadly lost her life to a rare disease called Chronic Granulomatous Disease (CGD).
Valerie’s family have a charity called 'Safe Haven - A Ray Of Hope'. Valerie‘s dream was to become a famous fashion designer so in order to keep her dream alive, the charity are using any money raised from donations and downloadsof the song to go to building a design school for children with disabilities.
